Dustin and Carlene met at college in Marion IN in the early 1990’s. They have three children who all currently live in Topeka KS as well. Katelyn, their oldest, and her husband Clay are on staff at TrueNorth. Caleb is a drummer and an influencer of people. Kennedy their youngest is a passionate and enthusiastic worshiper and lover of Jesus.

God then brought their years of serving and leading as worship pastors to a place of

convergence and told Dustin and Carlene in 2015 to begin a new work. He gave them

the name TrueNorth during a family time of prayer. Then over the next few weeks He

revealed His heart for this new work. Matthew 6:33 became the resounding verse for TrueNorth, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.” TrueNorth was to a family of believers who hosted and put the presence of God first and above everything else. God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are at the center of all we do.
